When it comes to making sense of telecare & monitoring, we can guide you in the right direction.

For over 20 years, we've been helping local authorities and housing associations to deliver assistive technology to their residents.

We take a personal, no nonsense approach to guide you through the ways in which assistive technology can help people with a range of needs.

We're dedicated to providing the perfect package to each and every client.

Overview

We've operated a social alarm and monitoring business base din Rossendale, Lancashire since 1987. We're a well established, independent company offering the highest standards of quality and service on a daily basis.

We've been providing support services to local authorities and housing associations for over 20 years, and it's this experience which enables us to assist organisations to choose the services which suit them best.

Whether it's the provision of monitoring or response, or to advise with the rollout of large, integrated telecare projects, we provide professional, but personal support.

In addition to our monitoring and mobile response services, we also provide a full range of support services for assistive technology projects.

This includes advice on equipment selection from the various providers, guidance on assessment procedures and wofkflows, installation of equipment and the frequency of maintenance required.

Whatever your needs may be, we're always happy to discuss ways in which we can help you to move forward with telecare related services on your terms.

Monitoring

Our Saturn and PNC5 control centres offer a comprehensive service for both hard wired sheltered schemes and community based dispersed alarms. These centres are BS EN50134 Part 7 compliant and are operated to TSA Codes of Practice.

For sheltered schemes the monitoring service provides the back-up facility of round the clock monitoring to scheme based staff when it is required. It also gives the residents the comfort of knowing that at the push of a button there will be someone there to answer their call to give help, advice and comfort.

We also have a complete back up Disaster Recovery Centre which can accommodate our services during extreme situations.

We're also able to offer Disaster Recovery services to clients, either by hosting their equipment in a secure environment, providing planned call-handling or disaster roll-over facilities.

Telecare & Assistive Technology

Eldercare are one of the few companies able to provide a full assistive technology service to either local authorities or private individuals.

Building on our experience within the local authority sector, we are able to guide, advise and support clients with a wide range of assistive technology solutions.

We are already able to provide our own dedicated installation and support service throughout the North West and South East of England, with other areas constantly being added.

Eldercare has the capacity to monitor an extensive range of Telecare products and adopts service user specific procedures to follow in the case of activation. Our operations are accredited to TSA Code of Practice Part 2.

Eldercare prides itself on its compatibility with all products available on the market and therefore can monitor whichever manufacturer’s equipment that you wish to buy. We also provide advice as to the suitability of different manufacturers’ solutions.

Telecare for Local Authorities

We provide Telecare services for many local authorities and are able to tailor the service to fit every authority’s individual, demographic, geographic or healthcare needs. This is a truly bespoke service; it consists not only of Telecare and monitoring but much more.

We are also able to help our local authority clients in the introduction and development of Telecare where, utilising local authority funds, we can initiate the system throughout the region and then assist with the transition of local authority aided users becoming private clients or funded through their personalised budget.

We are able to provide Project Management assistance and full training packages, alongside help with the promotion and mainstreaming of Telecare within a region.

Check & Go

For those individuals who may not feel ready for a pendant alarm or Assistive Technology/Telecare, we are happy to introduce Check & Go to our products and services.

Simply put, our clients ‘check in’ with us on a daily basis using a button on their specially designed big-button telephone. There is no need for the user to even speak to anybody as the check-in is automatic and takes seconds.

It is only in the event that we don’t hear from the user that we will contact them to make sure everything is alright and take appropriate action if contact cannot be established.

The system is highly flexible with regards to check-in times, amount of time allowed and how many times a day they check-in, making it a very appealing option for those individuals maintaining an active and independent lifestyle that just require that extra level of peace of mind.

Mobile Response

Our Emergency Mobile Response service is accredited to TSA Code of Practice Part 3. The role of the Emergency Mobile Response teams is to work with the Control Centre to deliver a support service direct to the customer’s home.

All teams are chosen for their relevant locality and so are within easy reach of customers. Our aim is to, where possible be on site within 20 minutes of receiving the initial call.

The Emergency Response teams are trained to deal with sensitive and emergency situations and will liaise with the control centre, emergency services, family and friends as required. We can also provide enhanced services such as moving and handling.

Eldercare also provides a Relief Manager Service to cover for holidays, sickness and weekend cover. Our Mobile teams will also assist with routine visits to schemes to check on the welfare of the residents and where necessary perform night time security checks

Lone Workers

Eldercare provides alarm and response services designed to protect individuals on the move.

By combining the use of specialist mobile handsets and a proven alarm call response centre, we can locate and respond appropriately to an individual’s situation, wherever they are.

Using mapping, GPS and GSM technologies we provide a solution that allows the location of the person in difficulty or danger to be quickly determined.
